Bodice was founded by Ruchika Sachdeva in New Delhi in May 2011, after she graduated in Fashion Design and Technology from London College of Fashion. The designer has since then been the recipient of the Elle India Style Award for Breakthrough Designer (2012), Grazia India Award for the Best Urban Collection (2013), Vogue India’s Fashion Fund/ CFDA in 2014 where she got a funding of 2.5 Million Indian Rupees. Most recently, she was on the India’s 30 under 30 list.
With a flagship store in Hauz Khas Village, New Delhi, Bodice is stocked in around 20 stores across India and over 15 stores internationally.
They are looking to hire a:
– Research graphic trends to support the seasonal direction and market trends and ensure consistency through products and ranges
-Work on branding concepts for multiple end use.
– Create professional level presentations of ideas; from loose sketch to detailed renderings to digital presentation
– Ensure an efficient process and communication flow between design, merchandising and development (within x- functional team) for all issues regarding the products designed by the team
-Artworking design ideas in Adobe CC, in accordance with the brief and range plan.
– Create and maintain boards for Concept and Sketch Reviews.
– Develop templates eg graphic schematics, tech pack information, etc.
– Build an understanding and translate the brand’s vision into tangible brand identity.
– Act as a support to designers, ensuring all briefs are dispatched in the studio based on individual’s strengths and skills.
-Designing for innovative projects on the physical (e.g. packaging, print, labeling) as well as the digital (e.g. website, email) side.
-Leading the continuous innovation of the creative look and feel of how we communicate the brand.
– Sourcing, managing and working alongside external brand suppliers for large scale branding projects
-Creation of brand packs for respective departments
-Coordinate photography and videography creation output
-Assist with branded packaging design
-Uphold brand values stationery design
-Develop and maintain a solid understanding of luxury customer goods branding and keeping up to date with current trends and best practices
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
-In depth knowledge of graphic aesthetic in the fashion industry
-Good communication skills
-Technical: good Adobe CC knowledge,
-Keen eye for trends, detail and brand identity
-Excellent visual communicator – able to build professional presentations for pitching concepts and brand language

-A natural/inherent passion for brands and visual communication, pro activity, flexibility and creative thinking
-Strong in layout design and typography
-Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications:
-Bachelor degree (B.A.) from college or university in design or equivalent combination of education and experience in graphic design and/or textile design
-Minimum 1 year experience in design
2) Fashion Stylist
-Work in partnership with the photographer to create images that are on-brand and tell our story.
-Use a range of styling techniques to showcase Bodice product to position and present it on the photography set.
-Ensure that all products are represented accurately, creatively and in line with Bodice’s brand guidelines
-The Women’s Stylist is responsible for creating innovative, editorial, and brand-conscious looks that display a thorough knowledge of luxury fashion and trends and an acute eye for fit and detail.
-Create fully styled looks for a minimum of 30 womens RTW pieces for review by Designer
-Execute styling of 30 looks on set utilizing keen eye for detail and fit to produce highest quality images for all women’s product
-Maintain knowledge of current trends in Fashion and Styling and bring new ideas and inspiration.
-Work with photographer and model on set to maintain clear communication and produce best results in styling, posing, and overall efficiency
-Coordinate Participate in on-site shoots at designer showrooms both domestic and international
-Perform administrative and organizational tasks associated with the position including creating Set Sheets for all styled racks of clothing
-Assist in maintaining a clean and organized Styling Closet and contribute to regular rotation of product
-Ability to work and make decisions in a fast-paced environment
-Strong communication skills and ability to work well with others in a large and busy photo studio
-Current knowledge of fashion trends and high end designers
-Excellent taste-level and familiarity with product featured on barneys.com
-Ability to create fresh and innovative looks while maintaining brand standards and overall wearability
-Experience working in a Photo Studio or e-Commerce retail setting a plus
-Strong communication skills
-Articulates thoughts and ideas clearly and effectively in both written and spoken communication
-A strong portfolio that demonstrates skills in still-life product styling
-On-figure and fashion experience desirable
-Minimum 1 year in a fast-paced commercial studio environment
-An ability to manage multiple projects efficiently
-Time management skills and an ability to deliver to targets and deadline
