Achilles’ Heel is a bespoke designer men’s footwear label offering in store customization, DIY and ready-to wear designs through its online ( and offline (Bespoke studio) services since 2012. It is was founded by FDDI (Footwear Design Development Institute) certified, Nirali Ruparel in an attempt to change the synthetic flatness and break the uniformity of choices and variety that prevailed in the men’s footwear market. Achilles’ Heel is a brand of Nirali Ruparel Gurwada Couture House Pvt Ltd with its made to measure shoe studio in Fort, Mumbai.

1)Sales & Marketing Executive:

Job Description:
Social Media Marketing
Communication with media and follow ups for PR
Responsible for tie ups and brand associations
Working on driving export sales and distribution channel sales
Finding potential partner stores
Sending newsletters, updates, offers to clients
Managing backend
Touching base with clients for feedback and sales
Creating marketing plans, budgets
Innovative ideas for brand associations
In store sales
Regular Tracking of ticket size, basket size, footfall (ticket – the avg amt of money each buyer spends on the products)
Store Display & Visual Merchandising
Client data Capturing & Compiling
Redemption & Call Task
Reducing Shrinkage (theft)
Ensuring the adherence to SOPs in Store (standard operating procedure)
Smooth cashiering process, keeping track of stocks
Content writing for website and PR
Basic Knowledge of Photoshop
Reporting in time and adhering to store timings

2) Designer- Footwear

The job profile includes 6 months internship period. We will be giving them a job offer at the end of the internship based on performance. The candidate must have the following qualities –
– Able to work under pressure
– basic knowledge of photoshop etc.
– ability to learn quickly
– good communication skills
– fluent in english and hindi
– initiative-driven
– presentable at work
– good sense of fashion

Job Profile –
– creating or visualising an idea and producing a design by hand or using computer-aided design (CAD)
• being up to date with emerging fashion trends as well as general trends relating to fabrics, leathers, colours and silhouettes
• planning and developing mood board for diffusion and couture range
• basic knowledge of Adobe photoshop and illustrator
• understanding design from a technical perspective, i.e. producing patterns and technical specifications for designs
• collating/ creating prints from existing inspirations
• should be able to render an idea into a fashion illustration
• understanding of draping techniques.
– basic knowledge of design for social media marketing
– should be able to come up with concepts for photo shoots
– home visits and in studio client servicing, providing style tips and taking foot measurements
