Devising a merchandise plan using the above techniques.
Relaying the merchandise plan to the buyer who, in turn, can decide on what products, styles, colours etc to purchase and from which suppliers, at what price.
Devising a contract for the suppliers including quality control, accuracy and flexibility. This is done throughout the season.
Allocating certain amounts of stock, to each outlet, throughout the season. Retailers are now trying to minimise stock holdings and commitment to allow for maximum flexibility.
Once the products are all distributed and put on sale, the Merchandiser can monitor stock movement, consider markdowns, inter-branch transfers, promotions or clear outs etc.
Monitor customer warehouse inventory levels and submit comprehensive inventory reports each week
Collaborate with customers to create attractive sales floor displays and make sure that our product is prominently displayed
Act as the liaison between customers and the company by addressing customer issues and solving customer problems
Assist customers in creating an organized warehouse that allows for easier product accessibility
Stock sales floor shelves for the customers who request additional inventory management assistance
2. Textile Digital Printing Designer:
• To create new fresh designs as per Client requirement for Digital printing .
• Themes like floral + abstract, texture +floral, etc.
• To make tracings for the placement prints.
• Placement prints for Men, Women and kids wear.
• Digital printing for Women’s wear preferable.
Should have knowledge of Photoshop (Digital Printing), Illustrator and Corel Draw.
